Special Dates
 The Abbey Church hosts many special events throughout the year ranging from special services to musical concerts.
On communion Sundays the Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered to any communicant member of any branch of the Christian Church. The celebration will be in accordance with the custom and practice of the Church of Scotland.

Sunday 12th September 2010 at 11.00am and 3.00pm (no 9.30am service)

Alphabetical Order
Easter Services: The Abbey Church of Dunfermline plays a full part in the recollection of and celebration of the Easter events with all the other Christian Churches in the town. Particular to us are the evening service (7.30pm) on Maundy Thursday (25th March 2010); which is followed by Holy Communion, the Good Friday evening service (7.30pm), and two joyful services on Easter morning.
The first of these is at 9:30. The second service, at 11:00am, is another full expression of the Easter Faith, in proclamation, prayer and in song. It is followed by Holy Communion. These services are open to all.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is open to all who are communicant members of any branch of the Christian Church as is the practice in the Church of Scotland. It is the Lord`s Table.
Harvest Thanksgiving Pageant of Youth Service: A family service held annually on the last Sunday in September in the Abbey Church.
Watchnight Service: A family service which attracts a large congregation from all over Dunfermline and the surrounding area. 24th December 11:30pm to 12:15am Watchnight Service Free entry to all.
Christmas Day: a family service held at 10.30am where the Minister invites each of the children to bring along one present from Santa to show to the congregation.
